BuSy MoNth

Busy month.

Busy month, but in a wonderful way. First off, celebrated my birthday along with that of a few others. I had a great time.Oh ya. Chucked like $70 on a new top. Coming from someone who rarely shops for clothes, that's quite a hefty amount. I can usually get two books without discount with that kind of cash. Okay, so my priorities are a lil haywired girl-wise. But it was worth it. Must admit to self that it does make me look slimmer – than the REAL truth!.. hahaha.. Spent the whole day from morning to night with Dude.. can a day get any better? Of course!!!! But it was wonderful all the same..

Next, watched F&F : Tokyo Drift with Dude and had the office Family Day the following day. Got slightly burnt. I put on some serious SPF 50 sunblock, but the sun had its way on my arms anyhow. Thank God my face didn’t suffer the same fate!

The Family Day went great, it had a good turnout. We had fun games at the telematches, one of which required the participants to walk like a gorilla complete with a gorilla’s mask. To assist in the ‘feel’ for the real thing, I’m sure. heheh.. Two tiny plastic balls under the armpits and one bigger plastic soccer-type ball between the hips just above the knees guarantees the participants to at least have the form of a gorilla. I was one as well, but I got to be the captain, which is to say, I do not have to walk like a gorilla but follow my fellow gorillas and assist them with the balls if they dropped them. Fun stuff. Managers, executives, non-executives alike had a valid reason of acting like gorillas (monkeys).

This weekend, I’m going for white water rafting and caving with my friends where we’ll be on the flying fox quarter way of the cave. Aiyoh. I really cannot wait for Saturday to come!

Meanwhile.. things between me and Dude has been great lately.. I cannot help wonder where this is going to take us. He’s shown his jealousy with regards to a few incidents, and have even made obvious attempts to make me jealous in return. *Benci* (trans : Hate)…

Despite my earlier resolutions to stay away from Dude, somehow, he found a way to get through to me again. It all started with him asking me if I could help wake him up for an interview one day. I figured, well, one time. Why not? And he did say he missed having me wake him up. To which I said, “Belah lah. Pukul berapa?” (trans: something along the lines, ‘Go to hell. What time?’) Heh. I know. I *soOo* tak boleh harap (trans: cannot be depended on) when it comes to him. And so the carousel of my life goes round again..

And then the next thing I know, he asks if I could please start waking him up mornings for work again. And then the rest is history. As such, events following that repeats itself but with better understanding of each other this time. We got closer to each other than ever before, but minus the truck loads of arguments. So far. So good. Please God, help us.

Anyway, though I’m scared, perhaps I should be reminded of my Napolean Wrasse experience. It may scare me, looks scary and all, but it could just be harmless after all. Like maybe, if it is my rezeki (trans: sort of..’gain’), then maybe.. this could be it. Or, perhaps this is it in the sense that it would either make me, or it would break me.

I suppose to gain the best in life, you have to take up all risks and face life head on in its face.

As always,.. To the best that’s yet to come!..
